1 Issue Overshadowing Gender Pay, Diversity, LGBT & Inclusion

One critical issue on the horizon outweighs the gender pay gap, diversity, inclusion, and LGBT rights all at once.

Want to know what it is?

Every now and then, I meet people with different backgrounds and of different ages, from teachers to C-suite executives, from 15 to 75 years old.

I really enjoy chatting.

When we chat, I often ask them about their experience with generative AI and similar tools (usually I refer to ChatGPT, since it’s the most well-known tool out there).

My observations:

- Approximately 50% have !NEVER! heard of LLMs, ChatGPT, GenAI, and other fancy buzzwords.
- The next 35% know how to do summarizations and fix grammar.
- The remaining 15% use LLMs on a daily basis, but still not even at an “advanced” level.

Why is that a problem?

Because people who started AI adoption early enough are already doing 10x what they were doing before.

People who stay up-to-date on the latest tools and tech are most likely doing 50x or more.

It’s a typical “rich get richer” scheme.
