In the future every fridge and hairdryer will boast its own version of “ChatGPT”. Faster then you might think.

When I was 6 or 7 yo. I’ve seen for the first time how my mom was struggling with cooking and keeping family diet so diverse as possible.

When I was 11, I was hoping that everyone in the future would be able to chat with the “kitchen” so that there’ll be no more kitchen- & cooking-related struggles.

I wanted to be able to ask my kitchen something like:

  • Hey, what’s in the fridge? What can I cook with it?
  • Yo, I am going grocery shopping. What’s missing?

When I got older, some of the gadgets received (partially) that functionality. If I’m not mistaken one of those was Siemens Intelligent Refrigerator.

However, the point of this article is not about the refrigerators.

It’s about the scale at which science, researchers, open source community, big tech & other smart individuals move the world of Large Language Models & Generative AI systems.

Every fridge, cooker, microwave, oven and dishwasher will be AI-enhanced/-powered.
